The Rhino AccessStep for Ford Transit Custom 2013 – 2023 provides a safer and more convenient way to access the rear of your van. Designed for everyday commercial use, it features a wide anti-slip tread with a high-visibility reflective safety label, helping to improve footing when entering and exiting the vehicle or accessing roof-mounted equipment.
Manufactured with a durable copolymer tread and a welded powder-coated mild steel support frame, the AccessStep offers excellent strength and stability with a maximum load capacity of 136kg. Vehicle-specific outriggers are supplied to match the Transit Custom’s factory mounting points, ensuring a secure fit and straightforward installation.
Available in black or yellow, the AccessStep is offered in twin or triple step configurations (vehicle dependent), along with Standard, Reverse Sensor and Connect+ parking sensor options, allowing you to choose the most suitable version for your vehicle.
The AccessStep is crash tested, TÜV approved and KBA approved, and can be installed by one person in approximately 30 minutes. Please note that vehicles fitted with a factory rear step may not be compatible. It is also important to identify the correct mounting plug type before ordering. Oval plugs are typically fitted to 2012-2018 models and September 2022 onwards, while square plugs are generally used on vehicles manufactured between 2018 and 2022.

Refer to the installation guide supplied with the AccessStep for vehicle-specific fitting instructions. Installation is designed to be completed by one person in approximately 30 minutes.
