The Tow-Trust 13 Pin Pre-Wired Towing Socket provides a practical solution for connecting a towbar-equipped vehicle to a caravan, trailer or other compatible towing application. Supplied with 2 metres of 12-core cable, this pre-wired socket helps simplify electrical installation and provides the connections required for towing electrics.
The socket is supplied without a mounting plate, allowing you to select the appropriate plate for your specific towbar installation. A suitable mounting plate should be purchased separately.
The 13-pin towing socket connects to the vehicle’s lighting system using suitable Scotch Locks or soldered connections. Please note that Scotch Lock connectors are not included.
For caravan applications requiring a 12V supply, a split charge relay is required. Depending on the vehicle and installation, a 7-way bypass relay may also be required.
This 13-pin pre-wired towing socket is not recommended for certain vehicle makes and models. Vehicle compatibility should therefore be checked before installation.
For caravan installations, additional electrical components may be required, including a split charge relay and potentially a 7-way bypass relay.
Please ensure the correct mounting plate, relays and wiring accessories are selected for your vehicle and towing application.
